About a month ago, I picked up the traditional Honduran folk dress that I had ordered the week before. In this picture I am standing in the little corner 'shop' in a huge market. In the past, as a seamstress, I was paid to sew for other people, and it was a strange thing for me have my measurments taken and have someone else do all the sewing. I was a little disapointed in the workmanship of the finished product and the fabric was terribly scratchy. Still, I am pleased to have my very own Honduran dress, made to measure.
I am so happy to see this you and the dress! What a fun story :-)
